So with work and life, I have neglected my camera equipment to the point of all 3 pieces of Japanese hardware NOT WORKING. My bridge camera has a battery, but no charger. My point-and-shoot is nowhere to be found. My DSLR has all its bits, but neither of the batteries are working... like, at all. I'm so used to having my shit together (literally) that I'm mighty pissed off with myself, and now I'm on a time limit.
So I'm gonna spring for a new camera before going on holiday on Monday morning (it's Sunday 03:30 here), because potato pics just don't cut it.
Are bridge cameras still in vogue? Looking at the Panasonic FZ200. I like a good lens, and F2.8 throughout makes it look like a tasty bit of kit.
If anyone has time to help, or personal recommendations, please look here and recommend! Anything between £200-400

Buying new batteries for the SLR seems like the logical thing to do here

Yeh I know, but it's Sunday now (I made a mistake in the original post) and all the specialists are shut. I'm left with general electronics retailers. So I will order batteries online all the same, but I'll still needs something for holiday.

Not sure where you're located but maybe check the local equivalent of craigslist to see if anyone is selling the battery you need? Any local forums where you might be able to find someone willing to loan you a battery?

Another option might be to order the batteries and have them shipped to the hotel where you are going to stay. That might work as well. Call the retailer so they know it's not a scam, and then the hotel to let them know that you are expecting a package.

That may work. Amazon.es can have them delivered on Tuesday. It's a villa so no need to organise things, just wait in for delivery :) Probably my best course of action, thanks

Not a problem, I have taken that course before when I have had equipment fail.
